How it works

Flooring packs are the room area plus a waste allowance, divided by the coverage of one pack. Baseboard length is the room perimeter minus door openings, plus 5%.

How to measure

Measure the longest and widest points of the room, including the part that runs under door thresholds.

Tips

• Let the planks acclimate in the room for 48 hours before installing.
• Leave a 3/8 in expansion gap at the walls; the baseboard hides it.
• Use a suitable underlayment for sound and moisture protection.
