How it works
Units per square foot come from the face area of one brick or block plus its mortar joint. The net wall area is multiplied by that value, and a waste allowance is added.
How to measure
Measure wall length and height, and enter the area of door and window openings separately.
Tips
- Brick sizes vary by maker; use the size from the product sheet.
- Mortar joints are typically 3/8 in.
- Load-bearing walls need a design approved by a licensed engineer.
